Born and raised in Dallas, where I sought out music education from a very young age and grew up in an artistic family. I am alumni of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Arts Magnet) The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Wind Ensemble and Mountain View College. I have a long working history with various Jazz Legends, Latin Jazz legends as well as Classical. I began Classically trained and moved into the Jazz, Latin Jazz, and Contemporary genres after establishing my firm background in Classical Education. Currently, I hold teaching positions at one of the top Texas charter schools “International Leadership of Texas,” where I am a Jazz Band Director, Co-Director of Band, Orchestra and assist with Choir among academic achievements of the many scholars within my campus and RBR Muzik. I play many instruments: Beginning to Advanced Piano, (All) Percussion and Drums, Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, and Tuba. Also, I have distinguished performances at Carnegie Hall, Meyerson Symphony Hall, Majestic Theater, and Mountain View College with their Community Bands and Choral Ensembles. I am also a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Association of Texas Professional Educators, have performed for Texas Band Masters Association, and Dallas Music Educators Conference. I owe all my successes to each one of my music mentors, who have helped pave the pathways to my successes to this date and future.
