Jordan Jones Cleaver started studying cello nearly 17 years ago under the private instruction of Dallas Symphony Orchestra cellist, Mimi McShane. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in 2008. Jordan studied cello at Kennesaw State University in Georgia where she served as both principle and co-principle cellist under the tutelage of Atlanta Ballet’s principle cellist. Ms. Jones has performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and many other renowned musicians. Jordan also opened at the Dallas House of Blues for funk legend, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic. Jordan has performed for Prince Edward of England and former Prime Minister Tony Blair. Jordan has also been a pit musician for many acclaimed musicals and operas. Ms. Jones plans to further her career by taking advantage of every music opportunity that comes her way.
