I pursued a Bachelors in Music Performance in opera from the Aaron Copland School of Music in New York City and I am furthering my studies at the University of North Texas. I have performed internationally in Carnegie Hall singing Carmina Burana by Carl Orff and in the Vatican, Tuscany and Rome with the Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas. I have also performed roles in operas in such as Les Dialogues des Carmélites, L’incoronazione di Poppea and Gianni Schicchi. In New York City, I felt privileged to be under the tutelage of renown opera singers Bonnie Hamilton, who is a faculty member of Mannes School of Music and Sherry Overholt, who is the head of the opera program at the Aaron Copland School of Music. I also have studied piano under the current head of keyboard studies, Ken Johansen, at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. I currently perform as a singer and dancer with the Conte de Loyo flamenco group and I perform bossa nova in venues across Texas. I started performing voice and piano in 2001 and I have been teaching since 2012.
