PIANO LESSONS (Age 3- adult)

Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn Bach or Alicia Keys, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. You do not have to have a piano at home to take lessons. A simple full size electronic keyboard will suffice for the first 6 months. After that, we recommend that you purchase the finest acoustic piano you can afford.

What sets us apart is our world-renown Suzuki Basics curriculum. The perfect foundation for all styles of popular music, the students learn piano basics through this internationally recognized classical foundation. From a solid foundation, based on classical pieces and technique, students can then add their own favorite pieces, genres and styles.

Private piano students are encouraged to perform in the 2 FREE yearly recitals at a world-class performance hall, as well as occasional Sunday Coffee-House shows.

Private Piano Lessons Basics:

30, 45, or 60 Minute Weekly Lessons

  • Scale Book, or Technique Warm-ups
  • Suzuki Basics Method Book
  • Sheet Music (student’s choice)
  • Theory Time Book (Texas State Theory Test-optional)

Private piano lessons are designed for students to progress at their own pace. Students/parents have the option to participate in the Suzuki Book Graduation Level program, which awards a trophy for each book completion, and the student has a special Book Recital during their regular scheduled lesson time.

Open enrollment. Students progress at their own rate, and after benchmark completions, they are awarded a certificate to move to the next level class, or begin weekly private lessons.

Little Twinkles (Age 3-5)

A beautiful introduction to Suzuki piano basics, parent and child interact together to learn finger numbers, rhythm basics, solfege singing, and hand posture. Individual piano time for each child is included in each class. Once the child can play all 4 Twinkle Variations right hand, they have a celebratory performance and are awarded a certificate. This benchmark allows the child to graduate to Big Twinkles Group Class, or begin weekly private lessons.

Big Twinkles (Age 5-7)

An accelerated journey through Suzuki piano basics, the young musician learns both right and left hand of all 4 Twinkle Variations, individual piano time is included in each class. Once the student can play all 4 Twinkle Variations in BOTH hands, they have a celebratory performance and are awarded a certificate of completion.

Parents say the children love watching and practicing to these videos so much that the child asks for them to be played just so they can hear the teacher talking just to THEM!
